Bug & Worm Adventures #40

I would keep drawing Bug with socks after this, but I like his feet.

CHATTER

Another Calendar Picture and B & W news

November 25th, 2008

Alright, I should have a new Bug & Worm Adventures up on Wednesday, and hopefully I’ll have a new Bug & Worm up on Friday, too. Also, here’s the latest new calendar picture. Please do comment on these like you all have been for the strips. I like the feedback, even if I’ve worked on these things quite enough and probably won’t be making any changes based on your feedback. Heh. Click on the picture to make it bigger…

Deer Sings

Next Calendar Picture

November 20th, 2008

No new Bug & Worm Adventures OR Bug & Worm this week. Instead of Bug & Worm, here’s the next calendar picture. I know I could have done better on this, but I actually like the way it turned out kind of piecemeal and off a little bit. You’ll need to click on it to see the bigger version, just like the last one…

Bouncy Dog

The Calendar 2009

November 18th, 2008

I’ve mentioned this a few times before on various blogs and message boards and stuff, but I’ll mention it again here: each year since we were around 5 and 3, my brother and I have created a calendar as an Xmas gift to our families. Now that I’m married and have two daughters, they help make it, too. We’ve done all kinds of themes and weird concepts and such, like illustrating poems they’ve picked out, taking a sketch by each of them and turning it into a bigger picture, etc. This year, my wife and two daughters each made up 4 quick, simple stories or scenarios and my brother and I have to draw them.

The reason I’m mentioning this is we’ve got to get these things done soon so we can get them printed and ready to send out for Xmas. That means I need to work on these 6 pictures instead of Bug & Worm this week. What I’ll do to hold you over, though, is post each calendar picture here when I’ve finished them. Here’s the first one I finished today (you’ll need to click on it to see it full size):

The Monkeys a Nut!

Question…

October 20th, 2008

Question for everyone: are there already too many comics/webcomics about and/or set in space? I’m still toying with ideas for a third comic, and for some reason, it always comes back to being set in space (maybe resurrect Blip & Gonk in some fashion?)…

All Bout Bug & Worm

October 9th, 2008

I finally put up a little About/History page for Bug & Worm. Even if you’re a regular visitor, you may want to check it out. I put a few links to some older stuff I did. You can either click the link over to the right under the Bug and Worm boxes, or just click here.
