Thanks for the feedback, macsnafu! I know the backrounds have been a little dull lately. I used to vary them more when I was doing one strip a week with more panels (these are all links: here’s an older one with trees, here’s one with bushes and more, here’s one with a house background, here’s one in the rain, here’s one with mountains, and here’s a more recent one in strong winds). I was getting a little burnt out, though, so I cut back on the backgrounds a bit so I wouldn’t quit the strip altogether. I’ll try and step it back up a bit in the strips to come…

I’m liking the comparison & contrast of the variants of Bug and Worm. And I really like the pixel look of the strip.
One thing I don’t see is much variation in the background. Occasionally you have a fence or sidewalk or something, but it’d be nice to see something else: trees, bushes, houses. I really liked the snow scene that you did in ONE strip, and I’d like to see something for the fall season (I love Autumn! All those reds, oranges, yellows, and browns, especially the leaves.
