Bug will fly one day!! One day!!!

Bug is a special Bug. Plus, all of these strips may take place over just one month. Who knows how bug time works? And yes, he's Grasshopper, and he's never been to a bar.

That book came out way after my strip, and it is drawn in crayon.

Sheesh. My own father attacking my on my web site. What has the world come to?

Most bugs only have a lifespan of one to 2 months. Does your bug take steroids? Is the big guy a cricket or a grasshopper? If he was a grasshopper you could have him walk (or hop) into a bar and the bartender would say, "Hey, we have drink named after you!" To which the grasshopper would say, "Excuse me - where is your bathroom?"

Orkahm52 makes a very valid argument! *laugh*

I didn't think this was off, but it took me a sec to realize it was bug speaking in the last panel. Worm's expression is awesome. :)
