I was wrong--the soft, orange candy in the shape of peanuts is simply called "Circus Peanuts", not goobers, and my local grocery store carries them.

If you do give them names, call them something like Charles and Leonard. Why, you ask? Why not!

You could also call Bug's "actor" Worm, and Worm's "actor" Bug. You could then take it a further step that Bug is actually a worm in a bug suit, and worm is a bug in a worm suit.

Hmm... perhaps writing comments while diseased is not such a good idea.

Yeah, I always think of either peanuts or the chocolate-covered peanuts when I think of goobers. I like the word. My parents called (and probably still do) my brother and me goobers. That's where I got it from. I don't remember if Nikki used it when we first met, though.

We're finally seeing the real Bug & Worm. I'm actually still trying to decide if their names are actually "Bug' and "Worm," or if are just their characters' names...

Do you say goober or is that just a Nikki thing? I'm trying to figure out who picked that up from whom.

I like Worm's expression in the second panel. Where's Paddy?! :)

It's called Argumentation Ethics, Sam. Bug can't argue against the comic without the "pre-supposition" of the comic itself to make his argument. ;-)

Goobers are peanuts, but I believe I recall a soft, peanut-shaped candy called Goobers, as well. Inexplicably, they are orange. A quick Google search doesn't turn those up, but chocolate-covered peanuts that Nestle offers under that name.

Gasp. At least Worm still cares!
Or at least, it seems like he does.
He asks about the fans, he doesn't really state his feelings on them.

Maybe Worm is a people pleaser?

I really do like the word goobers, though.
Good work!
-giggle-

Isn't goobers a type of candy, though?
I could swear it was a type of candy.

Bug amuses me in that he's contradicting himself, in that the only way for us to know what he is saying/doing is in comic format (or it could be in a picture, but with dialogue those become 1 panel comics in my opinion). Ah well, keep up the good work!
