All About Bug & Worm
Bug & Worm is a pixel comic that is updated each Friday. Bug & Worm Adventures is more experimental. It’s usually hand drawn and runs longer story lines. It updates on Wednesdays.
History
I started Bug & Worm way back around 1996 or so. I had just discovered animated GIFs and wanted to make my own. I opened up good old MS Paint and drew the smallest, simplest characters I could think of at the time. The result was a rather graphic animated GIF of Bug exploding. If you want to check it out, click here to open it in a new window (it is VERY small). I made a few more and posted them to my college web site. One of my favorites of those early ones is this one (it’s small, too):

A little while ago I tried to start collecting the GIF animations on one page. I didn’t get very far, but if you want to see the four I did get up, click here (opens in new window).
After trying a few different ideas for web comics (like Interdimensional Comic Adventures, for instance), I finally settled on Bug & Worm and decided to keep them pixelated. Here’s the first Bug & Worm comic from the archives.
After a while, I got the itch to try and get back to hand-drawn stuff, and thus Bug & Worm Adventures was born.
Me
Seriously? Do you really want to know more about me? I’m boring. Let’s move along here…
